Sounds like you're getting your term. It can start off close to that. You're definately at the age where you should hold it or be getting it real soon.

The dark brown is antediluvian blood, which means that you own started your period. It may be really insubstantial and only end a few days at the beginning, but eventually it will become more similar to a "proper" period.

Looks like your starting your time of year, so yes it's VERY normal. Make sure you're prepared for the full kick-off, like have sanitary pads, etc., on foot. Always keep a couple contained by your school sack or whatever - that approach you won't be caught short and panic!!
thats your extent! yep, im afraid so! All that sounds totally normal for a first period- its not only like the blood that would come out of a cut on your arm, menstrual blood is more describable by what you own encountered. So dont verbs and tell your mum!:)
in fact think u started im 13 and mine be exacacly like that i be so worried i asked my sister and she said if i still get it threw out the hours of daylight then its deff my term and it was. i freshly started my second period today and ts still brown because its outdated blood not dry
