Do NOT use a tampon if you do not have your period. Doing so increases your risk of getting Toxic Shock Syndrome.
When you have your period NEVER leave a tampon in longer than 8 hours.
It can cause TSS (Toxic shock syndrome) if u leave it in too long. That's y the tampon boxes say not to leave the tampon in for more than 6 hrs.
Umm... Have you ever heard of toxic shock syndrome? Leaving a Tampon in longer than a day is VERY dangerous! Odor is simply the first sign. Get it out of there, buy some feminine cleansing product and be more careful!
if you leave a tampon in too long you can get a disease called TSS and you should see a doctor if you have a tampon in for a very long time like more then 6hrs in because its not safe and its serious so if you have kept a tampon in for long you should see a doctor you should change your tampon every 4 hrs AND IF YOU ARE NOT ON YOUR PERIOD AND HAVE A TAMPON IN THATS NOT SAFE IT CAN MAKE YOUR VAGINA GO DRY
Why would you even want to wear a tampon if you are not on your period? That is weird!!
Having a tampon in too long can cause an infection and TSS. Why are you wearing a tampon when you are not on your period. That makes no sense. If you are trying to get rid of odor then wear a panty liner and wash yourself daily. Wearing a tampon all the time for both period and odor control is not what is is made for.
you should absolutely never wear a tampon while you arent on your period. like everyone here has said.. it can cause TSS (toxic shock syndrome)-- which can make u very sick. look it up.
Because there is something called Toxic Shock Syndrome that can kill you and it's caused by tampons. it's rare but it exists and you should NEVER repeat NEVER insert a tampon unless you have your period. It can cause besides the above a nasty yeast infection because it will absorb the natural fluids of your vagina that lubricate and protect it. Yeast infections itch like hell and are messy and can takes a week to clear up so be warned. It is also preferable to use a panty liner the last day or so of your period because you will be too dry already for a tampon even a mini one.
