At what age do you start have mamograms done.?

Answer:
It will depend on whether or not you have a kith and kin history of breast cancer. If you have a family connections history like I do the drs start you at 35, and some may hold you do it every year others every other year like my dr will enjoy me do.

If there is no family unit history or you don't have a problem near your breasts the mammograms will start at age 40.

Please check with your dr as all right for additional information.
40
Usually around age 40 unless within is a mass found on physical examination. Then they may do one for diagnosic reason.
Unless your family have a history of breast cancer, then 40.
35 to 40. It also depends on if you own a family history of breast cancer.
My doctor told me between 35 - 40 is when I should start have mammograms every year. If you have a history of breast cancer within your family (especially within your parent, sibling, or child), closer to 35 would be best, but of course faster if you feel a lump when doing a self-exam. Best wishes.
35-40
