What is the best product to use for a yeast infection?

to help get rid of it fast...

Answer:
Monistat 1day treatment. Be sure to get the one with the active ingrediant miconazole as there is another with a different ingrediant which seems to cause more irratation for me. This will work. Occasionally if you have a terribly bad one it make take two treatments. Wait the approriate time as the box tells you to make sure the first treatment did work. Most of the time one box does it.

Vagisil makes it much worse for me.

Diflucan is a supposedly one day treatment but if you go to the doctor he will give you a prescription for two pills. (two day treatment). If you have insurance each pill will cost you around 25 dollars. Much more if you dont.
Also, it had some mild side affects for me.

Believe me I have had in the past very constant ones. Tried everything the doctors had to offer. Come to find out mine were being caused aparrently by my birth control pills. Many different kinds of birth control pills. Came off of them after about ten years and now only have an occassional one.

Monistat 3 will also work and is a little cheaper than the 1.

Also, keep in mind the most constant cause of yeast infections is the use of scented or perfumed products. Try to use unscented products such as your soaps and sprays. Even toilet paper!

Also, when you take antibiotics your body is more likely to get a yeast infection. Nothing you can do about this is try not to get sick! and avoid overusing antiobiotics.
monostat 7 that is what a lot of doctors recommend
Dip a tampon in nautral yogurt and insert, it will clear it up fast!
Diflucan, which is prescribed by your doctor. The over the counter meds will help, but not completely get rid of it.
I dont really know but I can tell you what dont work.Vagasil.
monastat
Monastat 7 it works great even the ones for one day works good but if u have a bad one use the 7 day treatment
monostat7
I Always Used Monistat. Walgreens for About $17. or the Generic Walgreens Kind Runs for about $11. I Know. I Feel Your Pain.
honestly the best is a prescription- Diflucan.

but monistat or gynelotramin works. though i've found the 7day (though is longer and more annoying) actually works better. but that is just me.
well monistat 3 is pretty good, but i prefer the that pill u can get through your doctor.
the seven day treatments, the one or three day never work for me.
Plain yogurt, unsweetened, with active cultures. I swear by it. The good thing about using it is you are not subjecting your body to medications that it doesn't need. The reason you got a yeast infection in the first place is because yeast-eating bacteria that usually live in your vagina got killed somehow (probably you were on an antibiotic). Antibiotics kill bad bacteria, and also good bacteria that we need to keep our bodies healthy. So when the bacteria that eat yeast got killed, the yeast over-populated, and now you have a yeast infection.
Some people think that if they eat yogurt it will be enough to kill the yeast, but that is a myth. You need to actually put it inside your vagina. By doing so, the live cultures in the yogurt will eat up all the extra yeast within 2 days and you should be back to normal. The best way to do it is to buy a medicine dropper from the drug store (not the tiny one, get one that can hold a couple tablespoons), and just squirt some up there. Some of it will come out, but enough of it will stay up there to get the job done. Do it 3 times a day and it will be gone in 2 days. I've seen sites that recommend soaking a tampon in yogurt, and I've tried that but I found that it worked better when I applied it directly with the dropper. Best of luck!
