I went off the pill when my husband went to Iraq, and very much enjoy not putting those hormones into my body everyday. NOw he is coming home and we are not QUITE ready for a baby. We are both not huge fans of condoms so I'm wondering if anyone has found good experiences with other forms? I don't need advice as to what else is out there (already know) but am looking for actual opinions if anyone has thoughts on some other form that is just as good.

i'm on the nuva-ring (a vaginal insert) which is so easy and painless that i don't know how i took a pill every day for as long as i did. if you're comfortable inserting it inside of you than this is definately the best form of birth control in my opinion. you insert it, leave it in for 3 weeks, and then remove it for one week (you start your period during the week that it's out, and it lasts until you put the BRAND NEW ring in) resulting in 3-5 day periods.
i wouldn't recommend the patch just because the clots that it causes are real, i know 2 girls who it happened to.
