Can Platocin be used to bring on a period?

Answer:
Hi. I think you meant Pitocin.
It is used to stimulate contractions in a woman that is to give birth.
Using it for bringing on a period is not standard. I am not saying it has never been done, but it seems unecessary. I could not find any info on using Pitocin for stimulation of the menstrual cycle.
Sorry. Your Dr. might try certain forms of birth control to regulate a period. Or other hormones, but not this one, I guess.

"Pitocin is generally used in two ways: 1) to induce labor, and 2) to augment (speed up) labor. "
