What does it mean if you have a rash on your genitals?

My friend had a red rash that burned when she peed. What should she do, and has anyone had any similar experiences?

She needs to see a doctor about it. Especially if she has had unprotected sex recently. It could be an STD

Time to go to the STD clinic. I mean, it could be anything from a yeast infection, to HPV, but no matter what the case, I'd get it checked out and treated.
