So the probability of these two independent events both occurring at the same time is 2/100 x 5/28 = 10/2800 = 1/280 which is just about 0.35% -- less than 1/2 percent.
And if you judge about this math during sex, I am sure you will never procure pregnant, especially if you start by discussing the probabilities of independent events.

I assume when they declare the % of usefulness of a method of birth control, usually it's the % of women who use this as their only method of birth control who be in command of not to get pregnant surrounded by one year.
