So, condoms are 98% forceful, right?

So that means if someone have sex 100 times, there is a 100% unpredictability that one of those times will result in pregnancy?

Answer:
Nope. There are other "timing" issues.

The breaking (or failure) of the condom is 2/100, which is an independent event compared beside getting pregnant which is about 5/28 days. So the probability of these two independent events both occurring at the same time is 2/100 x 5/28 = 10/2800 = 1/280 which is just about 0.35% -- less than 1/2 percent.

And if you judge about this math during sex, I am sure you will never procure pregnant, especially if you start by discussing the probabilities of independent events.
rubbers do burn
It's not talking just about a box as a whole. Each one is 98% so no that's not what that technique.
your naive. Once you use a condom you throw it away and get hold of another one!

I assume when they declare the % of usefulness of a method of birth control, usually it's the % of women who use this as their only method of birth control who be in command of not to get pregnant surrounded by one year. In your example if 100 women used condoms for a year, 2 would get pregnant and the rest wouldn't. Usually they bring up to date you in the fine print exactly what it manner.

(BTW, I think 98% is for a while on the high side when it comes to estimates of the usefulness of condoms.)
