I dont understand (puberty)...?
sorry if i seem so clueless as to why puberty is so bad.

I never found it all that difficult either. Maybe we're a couple of the lucky few? ;)
Its different for everyone. The people you're talking to probably just went through a really awkward puberty stage.

aside from a lot of problems with my maturing reproductive system (worst system in the body), puberty wasn't bad for me either. i think they hype it up so once it happens, it's not as bad as you thought and you feel better.
Because - us older people remember the pimples, trying to "fit in" and "be cool", make friends, figure out who we are, figure out what we want to do with the rest of our lives, passing our classes, blah blah blah... then you hit your 20's and lifes just so much more laid back. Puberty was a pain in the rear. I'm glad thats over with!
And yes, I had a rough puberty. I had to take Accutane because I had severe pizza face (acne). And, I was the one that everyone loved picking on and making up nicknames for. Ahh well... I can just look back and laugh, because one of those kids grew up to be a bag boy at the local grocery store.

Puberty is much more than developing breasts or having leg cramps or wet dreams. It's about the whole body undergoing major physical changes. Along with those changes is also mood swings and attitudes that teens seems to get when puberty hits. My guess is the hype is because of this.
I don't see how this is about health.at all.
