took me 1 year to get preg after my last depo shot I took my last shot in Oct and got preg the next year in Oct.

It can take up to two years to get the depo shot out of your system and restore fertility. Theres a such thing as a drug being -too- effective. Better to abstain or use condoms than to screw with your body with Depo.
If you are trying to get pregnant after Depo try a fertility drug like Clomid to jump start it. But beware you might wind up with multiples.
I have been off the Depo shot for 4 years . I have been trying to have a baby for the last 6 months and can't get pregnant! My sister was on the depo shot for 7 yrs and was told by her doctor that she cannot have babies now because it stopped her from ovualting! there are both good and bad sides to this shot but unfortunaltly this is a bad side.
