My period is shorter, and i have unprotected sex the day before my period started, can i be pregnant?

my period is usually 7 days, but it's 5 right now, so i'm worried. Can i be pregnant? Is it true that since i had sex closer the to date of my period that i'm less likely to be pregnant?

Short or long periods have nothing to do with getting pregnant. It can happen either way. If you are worried you need to start using protection, playing the guessing game gave me my second son.
