Did anyone experience muscle ache while on depo?
Answer:
i was on the depo yrs ago for 2 yrs,i did experience muscle spasms surrounded by my legs,i also gained freight, your syptoms might not just be the depo, some of your symptoms describe fibromyagila, ive have it for 11 yrs.it make your total body ache, your foot and hands tingle,it feel like a severe casing of the flu 24/7 .theres noone tests for it,and alot of doctors do know to look for it,if they cant pinpoint what might be wrong ask them to check you for it. im not motto that what you have but look into it,be in motion to www.fibromyalgia.com and check the symptoms...take guardianship
Well I'm not too sure on what you could do except see another doctor and get a second view on everything. I really hope all that isnt from depo. I only started the shot last week. I hope they are competent to figure out what is wrong and facilitate you.
Ali please take the support of the answers in your bygone questions and do not go and get the shot!
I don't know if what Ladybugs is happening to her is from depo, but I'd strongly recommend anyone getting the shot google "depo lawsuit" and newly research this shot like crazy.
I be on it for four years and I'm so glad I'm OFF of it.
It would not surprise me if what Ladybugs is going through is worse because of the depo shot.
I had serious mood swings while on the shot. Depressed, anger, dejection, everything. As well as other side affects next to muscle pain and shipment gain and... well, a short time ago a lot of bad side affects.
Depo may not be this horrible for everyone, but to a majority of women who are on this, have have serious health issues because of it. Class act lawsuit issues!
I've been on Depo for not fairly 3 years. The first 9 months or so were hell for me - constant spotting, crazy-wicked mood wing, etc. After that point, my body kind of resumed spinal column to its "normal" functioning. Those first 9 months though...wow. I remember asking my Gynecologist if severe mood swings were a typical side effect, resembling going from calm and bubbly to a raging crazy personality in the blink of an eye, and she newly kind of laugh. Once my body kind of get back to majority, I still struggled with a bit of depression, so I started taking antidepressants.
I would say aloud that Depo could definitely be a factor surrounded by how you're feeling, but it's probably not the prevalent cause. You mentioned your try at taking meds - meds can be tricky because finding the right one can be tough. But once you DO find the right one it's close to someone turning a light on contained by a dark room! Depression can also result in the physical symptoms you're describing - the exhaustion, the ache and pains, etc. I would ask your doctor to refer you to a psychiatrist, someone you can talk to something like your depression and other symptoms. It's best to have a psychiatrist bargain to you about meds to some extent than a general practitioner. Have your regular doc do blood work to check your hormone level - there are other diseases that could explain what's up as well, similar to hypothyroidism or anemia.
Hang in within! Depo definitely isn't for everyone, and sometimes the side effects can outweigh the pros of staying on it. So far so right for me...I hope you find a solution!
Hi! My daughter was on the depo shot and she said that she get really depressed and also gained counterbalance. She didn't get the muscle ache. I would say to shift back to the doctor and hold them do an ultrasound on your legs to see if you could possibly have a blood clot. My daughter be miserable on the shot and just just this minute went past its sell-by date and now have the Nuva-ring. She said that its easy to insert and she doesn't hold any side affects from it. I would definitely beckon the doctor and insist on getting to the bottom of this. Good luck, and I hope you feel better soon.!
