I have the same problem. Water and fiber work the best. SALAD SALAD SALAD.

Even though I'm not a woman, I can share that one of my female clients tried this on my recommendation:
Magnesium Citrate -- it's around $5
Of the big 3: Calcium. Magnesium, and Potassium, Magnesium is often neglected.
It's easy enough to get calcium from dairy, and potassium from fresh veggies and fruits. Magnesium is sometimes lacking in foods if the soils in the region the foods came from is deficient in minerals.
So, for 5 bucks, enjoy the results, and the added benefit of deeper sleep. If you get too much of it, your stool will get too soft, so watch for that. The recommended amount will be on the bottle.

Eat more fibre, drink more water.
More fiber:
fresh fruit like oranges
fresh vegetables like carrots and spinach
oatmeal for breakfast
baked beans
pop corn
