Period question!!?

I got my period yesterday and i really have no clue how to tell my mum were quite close but ive never really talked to her about any of that kind of stuff please help!!

Answer:
if you dont feel comfterable telling her face to face, i suggest writing a letter, and putting it somewhere that only she will see it (example; her underwear drawer)
i told my mom on the phone, it felt easier seeing it wasnt face to face, so if you wanted to call her and tell her, that works too.
remember that she has her period too, and she will be extremly happy to help her daughter with this step into becoming a women.
(sorry if that sounded corny)
hey I know how you feel.... well play it cool!!!

or maybe with the cellular phone you can feel better you know??
I felt weird when I got my first one too, but trust me, tell her and she will be able to answer your questions and if you don't tell her and she finds out, she will be hurt and feel left out.
Just come right out and say it. Shell undersatnd i promise.
this is ralph's wife speaking. My daughter doesn't like to tell me anything that concerns her body. When she started her period last year, instead of just telling me,she wrote me a note! It's not unusual for daughters not to tell their moms personal things. But ,to all our daughters out there,us mom's have already been there, and we are [next to your doctor]the best people to talk to.
When you and your mom are alone and you feel that you can have an honest talk just casually tell her you got your period and you were wondering if she had any tampons around. Your mom might be waiting for a signal from you as to when you are ready to talk about this subject. This will also help keep the lines of communication open when other difficult topics may come up. Good luck.
Really? I was kinda excited wich i cant belive but she was out side and right wen she walked through the door i was like omg i started my period..yupp and we are quite close to so just say it..lol

hope this helped =)

i kno how u feel.. i didnt want to tell my mom the 1st time igot mine either.. with in a couple of months... she found out. but really... when your alone with her.. just tell her. its embarasing... but really its not your mom had/ or still has hers. if you dont already have pads in your house... thats a great way to tell her ask her to buy pads
if you and your mom are close then you can talk to her about anything, she will understand and can help you with certain things, good luck
I remember when I first started. I was really nervous to tell my mom. I kept walking by her. Then I jsut had to start opening my mouth to get the words out. And I told her, and everything was fine. In the end I felt better to have my mom to talk to and ask questions.
