Should I start my birth control this sunday or subsequent?

So, I recently moved, connotation I don't have a actual doctor yet, and didn't hold any birth control for like 3 weeks.

When I go to the doctor, she said to just start taking the pill this sunday, and not to hang about til the sunday after my next time of year. but my period started today. so, I don't know if I should interupt it, and start taking the pill tomorrow anyway, or permit it run it's course and start the pill next sunday.

I can't ask the doctor, as I go to the health department, and they are not in attendance today.

Answer:
just permit your period step through & start the pill next sunday.
I would start the subsequent Sunday as you would if you had be on the pill the whole time. You will not find pregnant during your period so clutch the 1st pills how many days after the setting up of youir period you are suppose to.
Read the directions, because you hold a few choices of when you can start in most cases. You can start taking the pill today since you started your interval today or tomorrow. I take loestrin and I be able to start taking it the daylight I started my period, but if I considered necessary I could also take it the sunday following the afternoon I started my period. I consider it depends on which pill your taking that's why I'd read the directions just to be clear. I deduce though starting tomorrow is probably best if you're worried because your doctor already said to and you would have to anyway if you looked-for to start on a sunday.
