It's totally normal..you're still young and you have irregularity. Totally normal for all starters. You can always wear pantiliners, they don't feel like pads and will protect you when it does start...but you will also know by yourself because you will have an instinct..and a little cramp.lol

Wear a panty liner like lightdays or just thin line pads that will keep you on hold for a while so it doesn't leak through. I have a irregular cycle too, but when signs like cramps, acne, or sores in the upper chest occur. It's more likely that you will have your period soon so will kind of know.
ware a pad all the time i guess. You will get to know your body and be able to feel it coming eventually.
Wear a panty liner everyday.. When you see blood then you'll know to put on a pad..
