I.u.d. query?
Answer:
hi, at hand are two different types of iud's. one has hormones approaching the patch (lasts 5 yrs) and one that is made near copper(10yrs). each one comes near certain "risks" a short time ago as using any other form of contraception...it only take a few minutes to have done and really can't be feel after being put into place...if you own questions, you really should ask the dr. and hold them give you the information packet with adjectives the risks involved with the iud...across the world though most people never enjoy any problems, and are given instructions as to how to check the iud position and everything at the visit when she will enjoy it put in...i've have my iud for over a year now near no problems, the only piece is my period have gotten a little heavier and a daylight longer...
so talk to the dr., take the packet, and ask them about anything which you are unsure in the order of.
from what i have hear about IUD's they are drastically safe and massively effective. They are one of the most convenient and successful types of contraceptive. With that being said, at hand are a few drawbacks. First, if not properly sterilized IUD's can introduce microbes into the cervix and uterus which can cause infection. It carry a very slight risk of pelvic inflammatory disease. Lastly, it habitually makes a womans time longer and heavier. However, this usually only last for the first few months. Hope this helps..
