I hold a interview for ladies w/an IUD?

Have any of you had any problems after getting a IUD?

Answer:
I am not a female, but I am a doctor and so I guess I can help.

most women don't enjoy problems with the IUD. but some women can seize irregular bleeding and in that grip you can get it removed.

medicated IUD, the IUD that have hormones has similar contraindication as pills but to a substandard extent due to lower dose.

In very scarce cases, perforation may occur during IUD placement. but this is slightly rare. a similar side effect would be uterine infection or vandalize to the endometrium also both are rare.

Like any contraceptive, in attendance is a failure rate to consider, that fiasco rate is similar to pills and condoms. (about1-2% of women on IUD will get pregnant). they also may slip out

register that IUD don't protect against STDs in any course.

but they are generally well brought-up for monogamous women as they are almost maintenance free. no ongoing cost.
i've have one for about two months in a minute and the only problem i've have is spotting irregularly. it's annoying, but the doctor says that it will dance away within 3 to 6 months. save for that, i find that it is really convenient and perfect for me and my fiance.
My cramps be worse the first few cycles I had afterwards but explicitly all. I love it immediately. There are risks though, look in your pamphlet that should own supplied when you went to the doctor for placement. It can become dislodged and can increase the risks of pelvic inflammation. Personally I hold not had any problems and I suggest this method to others. I have a child on the pill and a child on the patch. 3 almost 4 years now next to no children resulting!

I have the copper one that can stay contained by place for up to 10 years.
I got an IUD put a bet on in the 70's. Of course, alot have changed since then, but I can inform you some of my problems. I did have continuing problems beside infection. It seems that everytime I turned around, I have another yeast infection or bladder infection. I got pregnant next to the IUD. Before the pregnancy, I did go within and have to hold it "refitted" quite alot also. I don't reckon that they are so great, but, the best advice is to hope out a second opinion beside a medical professional before making a final outcome about using one.
Thanks
