Having have a tumour dangerous one of my adrenal glands will this affect my menopause.?
Answer:
you'd be better discussing this with a doctor as dead set against on here i think.
Probably ... but you can go together your hormones and be quite / vastly healthy :-)
Pg 141 What your doctor may not give an account you about menopause
adrenal gland (prune shape/size) located over each kidney
outer cortex
innner medulla
Adrenal medulla – if used too habitually eventually become exhausted
epinephrine (adrenaline)
norepinephrine (noradrenaline)
stress (fight or flight)
quick and simultaneous:-
heart speeds up
blood sent to heart, lungs, muscles and brain
blood diverted away from digestive system
sugar dumped into blood contained by large quantity to provide quick vivacity
breathing is faster
Good for running away from fierce animal but not so devout if boss is yelling at you. “ ... Body is flooded near contradictory messages ... This in itself is a factor within disease, eventual fatigue and physical illness.
Pg 327 What your doctor may not narrate you about menopause
Adrenal cortex
Corticosteroids ss long permanent status stress
Cortisol (gluco steroid)
Regulates immune response
Opposes insulin
Stimulates conversion of proteins to glucose in the liver
Corticosterone
Helps regulate mineral set off
Aldosterone (most potent)
Promotes retention of sodium
Increased excretion of potassium
Cortisol is extremely important to survival when stress of any sort is present
"… But in need the corticosteroids we couldn’t survive even the slightest stress. … danger of loss from even mild illness.”

Perhaps your source of stress is due to the tumour
As a preliminary do the on smudge hormone tests at www.hormoneprofile.com or www.johnleemd.com
If as I suspect they recommend you secure hormones please have a saliva exam done see www.npis.info or www.salivatest.com. A saliva test will check out alive hormones something that blood tests do not.
If a hormone is suggested by the saliva oral exam please take the dose suggested. Size 10 shoes are not twice as devout if you have size 5 foot.
The WHO (World Health Organisation) uses saliva tests.

Any of these talks explain why for helpful hormone levels a blood theory test is worthless. Blood tests find hormones, but they are the ones on their passageway out of the body. They are not the active hormones.
Search the net for "natural progesterone adrenal" and you will find tons pages
However I would rely on a saliva check to confirm the requirement for progesterone or any other hormones.
There is a list of doctors at www.npis.info who are aware of the benefits of unconscious progesterone they may be more helpful than your GP. Maybe you are just about to educate your GP earlier using the hormones.
In countries other than the UK near are doctors knowledgeable nearly natural progesterone and other hormones
Natural progesterone technique natural to humans i.e. very same to that produced by the human body.
For a good explanation of how critical natural progesterone is to humans see
http://www.hormoneprofile.com/howhormone...
and other page on this site
Wild yam is that Wild Yam the body will not convert it to progesterone. Also do not take fake/synthetic progesterone/progestins manufactured by the drug companies they will be of NO benefit.
After have done a saliva test any progesterone you buy must be crude progesterone USP. USP means United States Pharmacopoeia.
Hope this of benefit to you..
this is a massively intresting question..u are right within that the adrenals are directly associated with the sex hormones and the ovaries..it may depend on the size and type of tumour u have and if u had any treatment..thoses symptoms u describe nouns like typical menopausal symptoms to me..u seem to be to be functioning normally..if u are worried consequently a trip to the doctor should be on the cards
I don't think to be exact accurate about the endocrine system working resembling a domino affect, unless it is a tumor on the pituitary. But the adrenals spit out some sex hormones (testosterone, progesterone, estrogen) so it could have an affect on menopause. So you should enjoy all your hormones checked to trademark sure they are within common ranges. What are you going to do about the tumor? Are they going to remove it? The adrenals are really important so something should be done.
