Symptoms:
*constantly tired and lethargic, serious dearth of energy, falling asleep surrounded by work
*ridiculously heavy, erratic period (and i cant take the pill)
*regular constipation
*weight gain (not serious amounts but not down to my diet i chomp through quite healthily)
*unexplained ache and pains all over my body
no thing how much sleep i have, i still grain tired. the doctor told me to exercise - i barely enjoy the energy to achieve up an go to the loo!
i hold around 7 hours a night. however on the weekend if woken i can quite efficiently sleep all daylight. i can come home from work exhausted, but by the time i get to bed i'm wide open awake and can't sleep.
i have be tested for thyroid problems which came posterior clear. any ideas? serious answers from medical professionals please!

Have you been checked for anemia. Most of your symptoms check out and it is especially common and confidently treatable. My wife has it and I can describe when she does not take pill she is suppose to for it.
Thyroid would hold been my first guess on this. I'd enjoy your blood tested for both diabetes and anemia.

My first guess would be anemia as well, but I'm sure your doctor run regular blood work and would have found out if you be anemic, however taking a multivitamin with extra iron surrounded by it can't hurt. When they test for thyroid problems they exam for TSH. If you fall into the typical range they consider you average. Problem is that different labs and doctors use different ranges. What is considered the normal capacity should be 0.3 to 3.0. High indicates an under influential thyroid. Most people are close to 1.0.
So you should look at your results, and if it is above 3.0 your thyroid is your problem. Even a lower efficacy but above 2.0 may indicate a problem.
An endocrinologist is a metabolism specialist. You may want to see one.

Wow, this sounds so familiar. I would read aloud go fund to the docs and ask for another thyroid check, and also maybe acquire a hormone or estrogen level done also.
