I dont twig, you dont want to use them because they contain synthetic fibres? does that niggardly the 100% cotton ones you are going to get will be fairtrade?
Usually inborn feminine hygiene products are made so they're biodegradable...which unfortunately is recurrently times cardboard...I've never used this particular brand but I'm assuming this is alike case...if you're looking for specifics Google the company or the brand and try to find the website...or newly go look for the box within a drug store and read the box.
Britt,
I understand you want to user better products lately i think you should verbs with what you be using so that you dont need carry used to a new article and maybe you can try the unsullied one. Maybe you can ask a doctor or something.
Never heard of them, but looked them up. They hold tampons both with and lacking applicators. The applicators are made of biodegradable card and they are rounded end and petal cut. (Which is probably what you are used to.)
Tampons are made beside those materials because they are least prone to breed germs and also less prone to dribble apart inside the vagina or harm the sensitive vaginal tissue. I honestly surface that a lot of "organic" products are not so much more beneficial to us, but more beneficial to the businesses that plug their products as "organic" or "natural" (not that there is anything at adjectives wrong with that), as explicitly the new consumer enthusiasm these days. I surface that these products aren't worth what they are usually priced (usually about twice as expensive as their smaller number organic counterparts).
If you're switching products because you don't resembling putting those materials in your body, you can be assured that they will not mar you in any course and that 100% cotton tampons will not be "healthier" for you, as they advertise. Yes, their product will be better for the environment, but I didn't see you mention any concern for the environment as a factor within switching what feminine hygiene product you use.
im pretty sure they are made of cardboard
Rayon is not a carcinogen. You can check ingredient safety here: http://www.cosmeticdatabase.com/ingredie...
However, most tampons also contain an ingredient call Polyethylene which contains carcinogens: http://www.cosmeticdatabase.com/ingredie...

Good for you for putting so much thought into your health! You're a smart babyish woman for considering your options . . . Personally I any use OB (no applicator) or washable pads http://www.amazpadz.com. I am concerned not one and only for my own health but going on for all that plastic stuff that ends up surrounded by landfills!
Natracare is a nice company that makes life, biodegradable tampons . . . easy to find (CVS, Rite Aid, WalMart) too! I believe they use cardboard applicators. Perhaps their website can make available you more insight into the type of products they offer.
Just as a broad comment, I do not believe that "traditional" feminine products are harmful, but they are commonly irritating . . . (TMI, but I get a imprudent from regular pads and bleached tampons be paid me itch too) . . . it's a matter of nouns and "what's best?"
Best of luck to you!
