I have had it with her! Can you dump someone when they are in hospital?
Anyway, she wouldn't stop nagging about the hard time I gave her and after a week of her at home putting in all this work and making my life worse I was ready to dump her when she fell and cracked a few ribs.
Now it seems not cricket to take her some more grapes & say by the way I don't love you.
What to do?

If you had been any sort of man you would have done the decorating yourself if your too tight to pay someone to do it for you. one never knows, if you had done it yourself with a bit of luck it could have been you in hospital & she could have dumped you. if its over its over, but you seem rather ignorant. why not pay and why couldn't you decorate, you seem more like a girl than a real man. letting her do it then falling off, it must be so hard for you. lol
Surely she should have realised you didn't love her when you let her loose two weeks work when you could have helped yourself. I think you should tell her asap, maybe she will be relieved you saved her from having to dump you.

You obviously live together which makes it even harder. I don't think that you can kick a girl when she is down, I think you are going to have to do the gentlemanly thing and wait until she has at least stepped out of hospital. The way you gotta look at it, you live once and once only and if it's not right you gotta get out of it. I have been single for three and a half years and think you should be with someone for the right reasons and if it feels wrong don't waste any more time on it.

If she'd only cracked a few ribs she won't be in hospital long... they don't usually keep people in for fractured ribs as there is not much that can be done about them.
