try not to eat much bread, don't drink soda or juice (it has almost as many calories as soda) and try to eat low calorie snacks instead of the ones you eat now, or fruit. and exercise too.
You should just eat what you want and drink water and exersise.
Of course. If you don't eat much you are starving your body. So that when you DO eat something, your body holds on to it. It's afraid you won't feed it again for a long time. That's exactly what you have been doing to yourself.
And that's why you gain weight.

If you would just eat--it's actually better to eat 6 small meals a day instead of 3 bigger ones. It keeps you from getting so hungry and you won't overeat. And your body will NOT hold on to everything because you won't be starving it anymore.

You should be eating vegetables, lean protein, whole grains (the more fiber something has in it, the better it is for you) and fruit. In that order. No more junk/fast food. And no more regular sodas. Just the sugar in regular sodas will make you gain a lot of weight. And get out there and exercise every day. You are 13. There's no reason you can't get plenty of exercise.

if you dont eat your body starves so the next time you eat your body stores that as fat in case you ever starve yourself again so it has something to feed off of. you'll lose more weight eating 3 meals a day then not eating at all
give us more details like what you eat. then maybe people could help you more. but just eat healthy, limit your sweets, you know. that kinda stuff

It is probably because you are not eating alot. When you do not eat, yes you lose the weight, but not in a healthy weight. This causes for you to gain major weight the next time you eat because your body feels that you are starving and needs to store as much fat as possible in case you body starves again. You probably just need to eat better. Make sure to eat three meals a day, or 5-6 small meals a day.
It doesn't matter how much you eat as much as what you eat. Also eating to little is bad for you.

Second, your growing. So you're going to gain weight. Thus, stop worrying about it & strive for a "active/healthy" weight. EAT!
it could be a health problem, and not eating makes u gain more weight cuzz u munch on things. eating 5 small meals really helps.&& u just messed up ur matbolism
thats your problem. you eat too little. your body is in starvation mode so any calories it takes in, it holds because its soo used to getting next to nothing. if you eat more and excercise you'll definatly see better[not to mention healthier] results.
your body prob knows that you are not eatting alot so everytime you eat it trys to hold as much as possible in fat incase you stop eatting more. and eatting less is like eatting more, not enough gains, to much gains, exercise and eat apples and other things high in protein to manage your weigh or lose it.
It is proberbly because you have a low metabolism, which means your body doesn't burn up fat as quickly. It is proberbly best to take up exercise that you like such as swimming or running to burn up the fat that your body doesn't.

It's really just your body experimenting on how to grow. Once your 15 like me it will be the opposite; eat whatever you want with no exercise without weight gain (of course it's not exactly healthy to do that)
What do you mean by you don't eat at all? You HAVE to eat wether you're 13 or not! I mean if you care about your weight this much, you must care about your health! There is no way you can survive in a healthy way if you don't eat anything...

My personal advice: Eat vegetables as much as you can, drink water, drink juice! now that doesn't exactly effect your weight and it's good for ur health! Please, care about both!

You are 13! Of course you are going to gain weight. YOU ARE GROWING! The best thing to do actually is to make sure you are eating healthy meals more often. When you stop eating your body goes into starvation mode which means: 1. your metabolism slows down, 2. anything that you eat goes straight to fat because your body doesn't know when it is going to get food next 3. relax and exercise good eating habits.

When you eat small meals more often, your body's metabolism speeds up (you need energy to burn energy), do some weight training (the more muscle you have the easier it is to burn calories), and do some research in how much you should be eating. Your weight really matters very little at this stage. Stay active, eat healthy and smart, and you will be happier.
The reason that u r gaining weight is simply b/c u r Not eating. WHAT u ask...that make noooo sense?Well, the reason is b/c u have tricked ur body into thinking that it is "stuck on an island and you about to die"..therefore ur fat cell turn over is SUPER slow&u did this to UR self by not eating atleast three meals aday.So even if you start eating right you will still gain weight b/c your fat cell turn over has been permanently altlered by your poor eating habits..Do you fell moody and cant think staight sometimes??..this is a result of a poor diet and if you dont retrain your eating habits & metabolism...u will CONTINUE to have weight issues the rest of your life.Our bodies our like our computers if you run the wrong program it wont work right unti you fix it

Just know that you can eat fun food that is not fattening. The weight you might be gaining now could be from getting older as your body goes through changes. I gained a lot of weight when I turned 13 and gained more until I was 16 but I ran, played volleyball and softball so I looked really good. Also, my mom never allowed fast food in our house.
