I want to know more about the IUD Paragard. I know that it is hormone-free, but I wanted to know if it has an effect on menstrual cycles, basically if it can help with irregularity. Also, I wanted to know how likely the device is to get stuck or embedded in the uterus. Would this lead a painful proceedure to remove it?
Answer:
I have talked to others who have used Paraguard and they said that it is painful to put in and take out.
I've heard that it can be good for straightening out a period. I would recommend checking with your pharmacist as well to see what they say.
