This have happened to me back. I wasn't "due" to be on my cycle as closely as you though. But it just seem like the increase sexual hustle and bustle just triggered my menses to arrive a bit early.
It sounds to me similar to you're already on yours. I don't know how your cycle runs, and maybe it's TMI but mine leisurely builds up. So a little spotting, afterwards NOTHING, and BAM.. here it comes!
