Also, tomorrow i am going to the doctor due to a sore throat.. if she gives me medication for my throat will it throw my birth control even more off?

I am on same birth control and I be told I had to be vigilant roughly speaking taking it the same time everyday. If you lift an antibiotic, your birth control pill is useless. You need to use something else, close to a condom. Sounds like perchance you need to look into a more long occupancy birth control like an IUD, that you don't own to think nearly every day.

You should ask your doc roughly all of this when you turn. In the meantime, I've been on Ortho pills for years and not have any problem. I've taken them at varying times, and taken them hungover, on meds, etc. You should be okay, in my view, but I'm NOT a DOCTOR.
Alcohol doesn't affect the pill, unless you throw up within 4 hours of taking your pill.
Plus or minus a few hours doesn't label much difference, as long as you aren't more than 12 hours late taking it. You may find that you get hold of some breakthrough bleeding if you take it more than 4 to 6 hours behind schedule a couple of days in a row.
The pill prevents you from ovulating - that's how it works. You don't own an ovulation day.
If the doctor give you antibiotics for your sore throat then you stipulation to use a backup form of contraception, such as condoms, for the days that you are taking the antibiotics and for seven days of active pills within a row after you took the last antibiotic. If those seven days would purloin you on to the hormone-free sugar pills then you call for to start a new packet of helpful pills on the day that you would hold taken the first sugar pill. You will skip your period this month, but be protected from pregnancy sooner. I lately recently get off of Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo and I be on it for two years and I was fine. I switched because they didn't engineer a generic version of it and I didn't enjoy health insurance and couldn't afford it. I other take my birth control pills until that time bed,leave them on your darkness stand or right next to your bed so you will remember and you will be closer to taking them at indistinguishable time. Going to the dr. for sore throat medicine won't effect the pill,basically try to start taking it more consistently at the same time.
