i close to how you say that pills dont work, however almost every answer tells you to pinch a pill. haha.
anyway, a heating wipe is nice. if you dont have an electric one [or you dont want to spend the money on one] you can buy an icy/hot pack. noticeably dont stick it in the freezer!
oh, and i almost forgot to add on that sleep makes my cramps shift away. =].
If Midol doesn't work, get an behind the times fashioned hot water bottle, or a heat pad and place it bringing up the rear your lower back or on your stomach. It help me to do this just earlier going to sleep, I lay on my side and cuddle a pillow, with the heat pad tucked contained by the pillow case.
Have you tried extra-strength Advil? It works really powerfully for me.
I also like using a heat pad and massage my stomach/back. A warm shower is niiice too.

drink lots of marine , and take midol or run to doctors for a prescription medince BUT drink waterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
take a hot hip bath. Perhaps with a relaxing grease, but try to relax!

Take Midol, but filch it the day up to that time you start your period.
This style it gets into your system, it is much more influential.

I used to lug Pamprin Max.I've heard that it works better than Midol. Combine that next to water, heat pad, and a bed and you should be ok. Try to avoid overdosing on Tylenol because it thins your blood seriously and will make your flow severely heavy (and isnt correct for your body!)
