Girls only please (embarrassing)?

I'm a teenager and I have hair down there. and I hate it. its embarrassing and I want to et rid of it. I already decided I want to wax, but there is one problem. My mom is totally go natural. I couldn't shave my legs till I was 13! I'm older now but I don't want to wait till I graduate to get rid of it. How can I get my hands on home waxing kit with out my mom throwing a fit(I have already tried talking to her 6 times) and having the cashier stare at me when I come to the check out area?? Please realistic suggestions.

Answer:
home waxing...especially in that area can cause more trouble than the hair itself. (imagine wax finding its way inside certain areas it's not meant to be...then having to get it out!!) Shave...but use a shave gel meant for that type of area. If you can, go to an adult store and buy some. Don't get in trouble...it's not worth it...but shaving will be much easier. I recommend a brand called.Coochie. I know it sounds crazy, but it is a wonderful product. just transfer it to a different bottle. Be open and honest to your mom as well. she will be less likely to freak out if you act like an adult about. and respect her opinions...she is your mother after all.

Oh...and about the cashier...don't even worry about that. who cares what she thinks of your purchases. none of her business. smile and say thank you!
i have one thing to say about waxing down there...

ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow.

shave and trim!
just make it a neatly kept lawn
avon has a waxing kit for under 20 dollars. why not just shave?
just go to a salon and get a brazilian wax
Well when you scream the cats is gonna be outta of the bag so shave it

screw the cashier
Try trimming, and shaving. Your mom is less likely to find out about it, you won't get a stare down, and it's less painful.
Why not buy Nair? You apply it in the shower, wait a few minutes and rinse it off. It doesnt hurt and although you have to do it often, its cheaper and less painful. Plus your mother wouldnt have to know.
I'm in agreement with the person who said shave and trim. That way you don't have to argue with your mom to buy a kit.
all you have to do is shave. its not that hard to. but just dont let ur mom know. its not like shes going to check up on u down there. right?
wow that's embarassing i'm sorry. you could shave it but it can get itchy. if you do it daily then it wont. i suggest "trimming it" not bare, but not bushy. you have to do it behind her back she's not going to change her mind. buy it yourself. do you really want to have that bush?
shave it with a shaver and shaving cream it works hope this helps.
Go to the store, you can still have a parent drive you if you want. Tell her to wait in the car. Buy a few things, but when you pay for the waxing kit, stick it in your puse so your mom wont know you bought it doesnt see it. Or, just go with a friend without your mom. The cashier won't think anything of a waxing kit, its perfectly natural for a woman to want to wax. She's seen weirder stuff, trust me! :)
You could always just buy one behind your mom's back you know if you have like your own money and just make sure she doesn't see or also if you have your own money you could say you're going to the salon to get a manicure or something and just get that done instead and she'd never know.
well, we all have hair down there, only way to get rid is shaving or (ouch) waxing. just buy the kit, who cares if the cashier stares???and go for it...but keep in mind, it hurts to wax down there
speacial secret...were girls... ney ways go to walgreens they have home waxing kits for "down there" and be shure to test try it on you leg or arm first so you know your not gonna have a reaction
talk to your mom...again. sorry..but you are going to have to. tell her that it makes you feel uncomfortable and self conscious. [even if it doesnt.] maybe even start getting emotional...haha it works with most moms. also...i dont think the cashier would stare at you. but are you sure you want to wax? its painful...really painful. [well its different for different people.]
for me, i jus shave, its alot easier, get a good razor tho. or tell yo mom wax is for your legs.lol idk she might buy it. but yea go w/ shaven it. it works jus fine.
Look, if you're still living with your mother you're going to have to discuss it with her, and chances are you're going to have to abide by her rules if you want to stay with her. Another alternative is secretly booking an appointment at a professional waxing place, but that is expensive. Do you ever go to the supermarket or pharmacy or just out and about? Stop in and buy a home waxing kit. The cashier won't stare, they are used to people buying all sorts of things and probably will never see you again so they don't mind.

But if you don't have a partner (not sure from your question) why are you so desperate to wax it? It is very painful and needs to be done often, and nobody except you will be able to see it anyway, is it worth it? For hygiene purposes, trimming is sufficient.
u can order one online and send it to a postal place where u can pick it up when convenient u can also go and buy one when ur mom is not there i am not sure why u cannot just shave it though its so much easier and it doesnt hurt as much as wax ...and i am sure u can much easier buy a razor rather than wax kit anyways good luck!
Trim and save your money for a professional wax. Don't do it yourself the first few times.
ask your Doctor since it is a really sensitive spot do not shave or wax it could give a rash or irritation .and I am not saying that to go with your mom i am talking from experience
Waxing hurts man. Sure the effects last longer, but shaving would be way less painful, also a lot easier in your situation.
on behalf of my girlfriend: waxing = ow
I've heard there are some depilatory creams that do the job painlessly.
I know it's embarrassing to have to check it out in front of a cashier, but really, to them, it's not a big deal.
Think of everything they sell that could be embarrassing... Tampons, pads, condoms, douches, medicine... Waxing doesn't seem as embarrassing as those things! And they sell them EVERYDAY. They won't think twice of it! If you are still nervous, go to a younger female that you don't know.

So like I was saying, just go to Walmart and buy a waxing kit. Since you said you were older than 13, I think you are old enough to decide.

If you don't want to do that, you should shave/trim to keep it down until you can buy a waxing kit.

If you happen to have a credit card/debit card of your own, you could order a kit online... But if your mom sees your bill, she might notice the waxing kit!
just shave
Try telling your mom that your hair makes you feel self conscious and uncomfortable. It worked when I wanted my mom to let me shave my legs. But if she still says no you could ask a friend to buy some for you. Also, it may seem like the cashier is making fun of you with their eyes (hehe) but look confident. I swear, they can smell fear. Hahah, just kidding. But they're probably staring because they're board out of their minds, and really couldn't care less about what you're buying.

Oh, and also, some major grocery stores have self check out areas you can use if you really want to avoid the cashier. Just grab your junk, scan it, insert your cash and run away. Very hand things they can be.
there is no way you can wax yourself, that is just totally unrealistic. you won't be able to do it. Maybe you could on some light hairs like your arms, but your pubes are too thick. Just shave them until you can afford to have a professional do it. OR, you could ry to talk your mom into just getting you a bikini wax, which is just the edges, and then try to talk the person doing it into doing more. I started getting bikini waxes in the summer at 17, but I didn't get a full brazilian wax until I was 23. I get french waxes now, I think they look the best.
Use Nair its for your legs, bikini area. Best of all no one knows what you are buying it for.
Your mom needs to calm down and let you make some decisions about your body. As long as you don't get piercings all over your face and tattooed.
Besides Nair is much easier than waxing, it doesn't hurt like waxing does.
Just try and be understanding of your mom, its the respectable thing to do.
I hope you won't mind me answering your question. I am a guy, but my fiancee' uses an epilator. She has been doing this for years, so her pubic area stays nice and soft. I know other girls/women who shave there as well. Waxing is not the only way to rid yourself of unwanted hair.

I wouldn't worry about the ignorant stares of petty cashiers. Unless there is an age limit on home waxing kits, as long as you have the money, you can buy it, regardless of what the cashier thinks. They are paid to take your money and serve you, not offer you their opinion.

If you can't get the home waxing kit, you may have to just shave your hair there, but you will need to do this more often to avoid getting itchy stubble. My fiancee' has told me that she loves her epilator, and at the beginning it pulls a bit, but after a few times, she has told me that it gets easier. I think the waxing would be a more intrusive way of removing your hair, but that is totally up to you.

Personally, I think your mom should allow you to make up your own mind, regardless of her own personal hygiene, but of course you have to live with your mom.
