GIRLS ONLy?

Girls, when ever you get your period... what does it feel like, whenever you got yours... did it bleed threw your undies, I mean whenever i get mine I don't want a blood stain in the back of my pants... I just want to know what it feels like so I know what it is if I get it during school. HELP

Answer:
it's a really strange feeling. the first time TOM [time of the month-my friends and i made it up] barged into my life and got into my pants, i just had this feeling he was there and i still get this feeling whenever it's time for him to come again. it just doesn't feel like any other day-the discharge was heavier and just weird feeling. luckily though, when he came into my life, it was at school, but it wasn't tragic. he just left a little trace that he was there. [now-a-days he makes it clear and sometimes it's uncomfortable].

if you are concerned and want to prevent potential embarrassment, wear pantiliners. they are super thin and you can hardly feel them.

to this day i'm still afraid of getting up from my desk at school only for kids to start busting up laughing because tom came and i didn't realize it before he left his mark. that's why i wear tramps and thin pillows [tampons and ultra thin pads] whenever he comes around.

best wishes! it's not so bad!

---my friends and i have made up code names so we can talk openly about what's happening to us without others knowing and so we don't have to say, "do you have a PAD i could use?" at school.
honestly .. this is gonna sound gross, it was like jelly the first time i got it and it was only a little and lasted for two days.
GROSSS girl stuff
Maybe some abdominal cramping or feeling a little puffy. If you are scared about being embarrassed start wearing pads just in case.
its heavy and i go through pads like crazy. just take extra undies and some sweats in case you go through.
Even after you've had it for the first time, you can sometimes still get it suddenly in school. I think it happens atleast once to every girl and they are unprepared for it. The best thing to do is always carry a tampon/pad (whatever you prefer) with you and if u have a locker or something like that at school keep a hoodie or even another pair of pants just incase you do "bleed thru". It might look dumb but even if u can tie a hoodie/sweatshirt or whatever around your waist to cover it up until you can get home will help hide it.
As far as what it feels like/and bleeding thru undies.depends on if its a "heavy flow or not". And if you get cramps and stuff then you'll know its just around the corner and to be prepared.
Oh, that's tough. Sometimes I still don't realise Aunt Flo is on her way, and this is after 17 years.
ok, for a day or two before, feeling irritable and cranky - as if the whole world is out to get you - bloated, and having pain in your lower abdomen and sometimes an aching back and legs as well; being hungrier than normal; skin breaking out.
If you get it unexpectedly - well, you'll feel a dampness, and there should be enough time to get to a bathroom before it soaks through your pants (assuming you're wearing underwear). Hope that helps...
I got my first period when I was 7 years old and it kind of snuck up on me, but anyway to answer your question, I know my period is about to come on my legs start feeling weak and I get cramps, small ones that aren't really bad and my stomach just feels kind of funny. That's how I can tell. Most of the time that first one sort of sneaks up on you so be prepared and start wearing panty liners just to be safe
Yes, you can bleed heavy like that. I sure did every time I"ve had my period. The best thing to do is wear panti liners until you do get your very first period. That way you won't have to worry so much when it does happen. It helps to be prepared. Carry an extra tampon or maxi pad (they make them so thin these days) around in your purse just in case. Good luck honey!
The first time I got my period, it started in my sleep. I woke up and my underwear was all bloody (which was really gross).
I didn't feel it coming, and it didn't really give me any warning.
Now though, I usually feel like I have to pee when it is starting.
Keep an extra pair of pants and underwear, and a pad in your locker just in case.
it really is unpredictable. you probably wont be able to feel it. in other words, until you go to the bathroom, you wont know that it has started. usually the first time, it barely bleeds. When i got my period i was on a trip with my church and nobody had pads so i got by on just panty liners. which shows it barely bleeds the first time. dont worry. youll be fine
Well, to be honest for me, it happened over the weekend when i was like 11, i was scared sh!tless and ran crying to my mother, but I'm older now (13) and it's like warmer and more moist down there (sorry, have a thing for not saying the reproductive areas) and it can go through your pants, it's happened to me, in school, but i was smart and had and extra sweatshirt in my locker so i tied it around my waist and kept it there all day. Or keep an extra pair of pants/shorts depending on the weather. Keep some spare change on hand too, you might need it if you don't have a pad/tampon with you when it starts. But it's nothing to get all worked up over, every female goes through it (i hope), just relax and be prepared.

Hope this helps in some way!
Honestly, your first period, which will most likely be very light, is kind of like having red goo ooze out. I wish I could describe it better. Do you get discharge? (White...goo that comes out but it's not a period.) If so, a period is a little heavier than that and red. Basically. Pads are good for your first, but later you will want tampons. They don't hurt, and they're good for active girls.

It COULD ooze through your jeans, but your first one usually won't go any further than your underwear. Every girl worries about getting it at school, but it doesn't happen to as many girls as you think it does.

The way it will most likely feel, so you will know when to check your underwear, is kind of like...a gooey bubling feeling on your vagina, then your underwear might feel a little wet. If you're anticipating yours soon, wear a pantiliner, which is like a thin pad, every day for security in case it does happen at school.

Don't worry, by the way. It isn't that bad the first time.

But after that..I can't make any promises.
you will feel like you have tinkled on yourself a little if you have not started and are getting crampy or bloated go ahead and wear a pad even if you haven't started, if you have and think your ok check anyway and often. The best thing to do as I have told my daughter is as often as possible go to the rest room, if possible wear dark clothing on heavy days, this can prevent embarassment however I always preferred white undies. If you wear tampons use a panty liner at the same time and always change after urinating. On heavy days regular bathroom breaks are a must and go ahead and replace your tampon or pad each time, this may use a few more but the cost is more preferable to the embarassment, If you dont want to carry a purse todays tampons will easily fit in a pocket and not be noticeable or carry a light sweater or windbreaker and have someone sew in a hidden tampon pocket. Only you will know then.. good luck
When you first get your period is will more then likely be brown and turn red over time. Sometimes you may feel crampy, so do not.Just keep a pad , extra set of undies, in your purse, maybe with a small pack of wet wipes to clean your self up. the change undies and put the pad on, and go back out.
Iy\t is nothing to be worried about. I fyou are worried about a stain showing throuhg, keep a light sweater in your locker and then you can wrap it around you waist if you have to leave the classroom.
honestly, the first time I got mine I got a very small amount of brown discharge b4 I even got it,that doesn't happen every time tho.but you feel kind of cranky, and sleepy for a couple days.you also get sharp cramps under your belly button.usually it takes a long time to bleed through your pants tho.u usually get like a smudge on your panties before it starts really flowing, good luck!
When i first got mine i was 11, it felt like something thick and wet was in my panties, gross huh?? It didnt go through my panties because i wasnt in class or anything , i had just awaken. But if I would have been in class it probably would have. I was excited though, i was finally happy to become a lady. But it lasted for about three days. Then when it came the second time i experienced excruciating cramp pains, some people cramp lightly but i didnt. I needed every drug in the book to stop he pain. But if youre nervous about it going through your underwear while you are in school, then buy a pack of pantyliners. Theyre really thin and they only cost about 2 dollars. Wear those everyday, i wear them even when im not on my period because i dont like discharge to be in my undies... goodluck
my very first period i got i first saw spotting then a day later it got heavier, if you think you feel it in school go to the bathroom and check, you can buy a pad, or put toilet paper in your underwear. but if you go to the nurse they will most likely have a pad you can use.
I first got my period about a year ago [I was 12]
I was lucky to get it at home on a weekend. That day, beforehand, I felt really bloated, and I kinda felt like I'd been working out or something because my stomach felt weird. When you start to, uh... Idk bleed, it feels wet and you usually feel it whether you have a heavy or light flow. If your stomach hurts its a good idea to check in the bathroom between every class at school, and always carry some change for the vending machine in the bathroom if your school has one. If not then carry some 'supplies' in your backpack. Don't be embarrassed if someone comes across them looking through your backpack. Its nothing to be ashamed of, every girl has to do it.
they suck omg. hurt like hell, and bleed like crazy. sry to b the bearer of bad news.
It feels like you just pied on you're self its grows!...but don't worry about it you will get used to it! and about u bleeding threw it depends what kind of pads you use and how often you change it or if you are even wearing 1...but worry about cramps does are terrible so DRINK LOTS OF WATER.
