15 y/o, burning bright red nipples since yesterday. Causes?
Answer:
Shea,
The first time I went swimming in man-made waters, IE - a lake, the SAME thing happened to me. It was just a skin irritation to something, an animal or plant, that was in the water. On top of that, I stayed in my wet clothes too long. My mom took me to urgent care and they told my mom to pick up some Bendryl cream at the store and if the problem persisted for 3 days, then come back.
It went away in like 1 day or so. The same thing happened to my younger sisters when they went to different lakes. It's our "skin-type" I assume. Benedryl comes in a spray form now. Try that and if it doesn't work, then contact your primary care physician or an urgent care facility. Good Luck!
GO TO THE FRICKIN DOCTOR! WHY WOULD YOU RELY ON THE INTERNET FOR PAIN RELEIF?? ESPECIALLY IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT IT IS?? AT LEAST GO ON WEBMD.COM OR SOMETHING. I MEAN, ITS YOUR NIPPLES, MAYBE SOMEONE HAS A CURE THEY CAN LEND YOU ONLINE??????? OMFG.
Sounds like contact dermatitis...make sure the bra is very clean, or cleaned again, and try some benadryl cream on them. If it doesn't help, go see a doctor.
could be you got a infection or allergic to the things in the water or possible a insect bite, check with doctor.
Sunburn, maybe? You were at a lake I suspect? Could be anything. sorry if I am not much help. all I can think is get pure aloe. Not the stuff you buy at the drug store. that has alcohol in it and it can burn. go to the health food store and get a bottle of natural aloe directly extracted from the plant. Usually it comes in a glass bottle and it looks clear and a little chunky, but it works good on sunburn.
you went swimming, this is my first clue, even if you had a swim suit on you could have gotten sunburn, they are very sensitive. Also there could have been something in the water that you are allergic too, it could also be the Lycra in your swim suit. There could be many reasons, did you hold a rubber or plastic float? it could have rubbed across your breast area. I'm think it is an allergic or a burn, but in case it isn't, keep a close watch and after a few days go see a doctor. It is better to be safe than sorry. Until then try rubbing neosporine or Preparation H on them this will ease the burning sensation. Anything you try if it gets worse, stop and call the doctor. You can also ask your local pharmacist.
Yeah... only it's go get your mom (or dad if she's not available) and get to the doctor. Wear only very clean outer clothing and don't wear a bra. If your parents' insurance has an after hours clinic, go there; if it doesn't, this might wait until tomorrow, but if it gets really, really, uncomfortable have them take you to the ER. You probably need a topical cream to help make this go away, but don't want to risk getting an infection.
ohh my god please go to the hospital in some cases that could be a rare form of breast cancer i have a link with info here
