Answer:
Yes, I used to be a Diet Counselor and the best thing you can do is walk as much as possible to tone, ride your bicycle for exercise, and go on a sensible diet. The best thing you can do is go on a "diabetic" diet. You can find them on the internet. It is just a healthy way to eat and if everyone ate like this no one would have any additional pounds. Remember to keep your portions reasonable. Drink 32-64 ounces of PLAIN water a day. No sodas either. No matter if the are no calorie because it will slow down your weight loss. Remember that muscle weighs twice what fat does. So as you lose and replace fat with muscle, you will notice it in your clothes first before the scale. You can do it.
Best to check with your doctor first, but a friend of mine lost 40 pounds in 2 months by going on a low-carb diet, called the Dr. Poon Diet (he is a doctor from Toronto). His website is listed below.
thanks for the question I want to lose some weight weight in the summer because i start college in september and im not over weight but I want to feel better.
I have the same goal, what im doing is going on a strict diet, because getting rid of that kind of weight is very hard. Get a friend of a family member and walk 2 or 3 miles every night, do yoga or just go out and have a good time with your friends. Simple things like this get your mind off of bad food and will get you into shape before you know it. It has been working very well for me! I hope this helps!
well thats alot of weight in a short period of time - you will have to cut out all junk food , and exercise for about an hour a day. its doable but you will really have to apply yourself. if you dont already do a sport or something active , then find one you like. good luck!
