When she wipes, a female should wipe from the front to the back. In this manner you cannot contaminate the Urethra or vaginal area with possible bacteria from the anus. The rectum is considered contaminated but the Urethra is clean as well as the vagina.
The body digests food and the product, BM contains bacteria. So, by wiping front to back contaminating the front orifices [openings] is avoided.
