Girl Question!!?

Ok so, I'm 19 years old and I own been to the gynocologist at least possible once a year since I was 15 or 16 years outmoded. However, I have never have a pap smear or a pelvic exam. Everytime I go surrounded by there, she does a breast exam, asks me if my period have remained regular(yes), asks if I own any abnormal discharge(no), asks if I'm sexually active(no), and asks if I requirement any refills on my birth control pill (on it to hold my skin clear). Once I answer all of those question like that she let me leave. Is this mundane?? Am I not getting a pap smear or a pelvic exam because my answers to those questions don't warrant them? Any answers you contribute me will be great. Thank you in mortgage! :-)

Answer:
You need one after 21 or so or if you are sexually stirring

its average same thing near me.dont worry!
You start getting pap smears once you become sexually involved, therefore as you read out you are not, the doc doesnt worry around askng you if you need a pap smear.
Yes if your not sexually busy or have a loved ones history of ovarian cancer etc at a very babyish age in your people. They will not give you a pelvic.
Most doctors won't supply you a pap smear until you turn 21 or you become sexually active. Whichever comes first. I wouldn't verbs about it. You don't want one anyway.
That seem odd. Generally, some doctors don't do exams for infantile girls because they really aren't necessary, but by the time you are 18, it really is neccessary. Just because your answers to the question seem approaching there is nought wrong, does not mean that you shouldn't catch a pap smear, etc. I think you should categorically ask for an exam next time. It seem quite peculiar that she hasn't done one yet.
Well if u are sexually alive u should get a pap smear ... But as u said ur not... Thats why she prolly doesnt run one.. U shouldnt fib to ur gynocologist.. U are not harming her.. but u...

Get one on ur subsequent visit.

GOod luck.
ok so i dont regard as this is right you are 19 years old and basically so the other girl knows even virgins entail paps dear so i would ask the gyn if this is really bothering you
Your doctor may think since you are not experiencing any problems or are sexually stirring that you don't need a pap experiment. If you are worried ask your doctor why.
I believe it is because you are considered low risk--i.e., you are not sexually active (congrats on this) and you are lower than 30.
If you have never have a vaginal penetration later your doctor dosen't think you necessitate one. I got my first pap when I be 21. They scrape some cell off the cervix to check for infections and atypical cells. I'm sure your fine.
According to www.cancer.gov:
Women and teenagers should start getting regular Pap test about 3 years after the first time they enjoy sex.
Women should have a Pap testing no later than age 21, even if they enjoy not started having sex.
Women should catch a Pap test at least possible once every 3 years.

I would ask your gyno why you aren't getting a pap. When you were 15 or 16, I can gentle of understand.
A pap doesn't a moment ago have to do near sexually transmitted diseases, it's also to test for any possible cancer cell that have grown. If you are a virgin, it may be that she doesn't want to break your hymin. If she hasn't done one by the time you are 20, I would emphatically request a reason...or it may be time for a hot gyno...
Don't worry!! That's exactly what happen with me!! Don't verbs!!
I started getting Paps BEFORE i was sexually alive (and I was BC too since I was sexually active) and I budge every year just to be out of danger. She may not think its called for but I think if it bothers you afterwards you should call and gain one. I dont think it matter if you are sexually active or not. If you would enjoy better peace at mind to get one next do it. It does no harm (but it is uncomfortable) and its better to be risk-free than sorry.
it's ok. A pap/pelvic is recommended by the Health Dept only after 2-3 of one sexually active or whe you turn 21, whichever comes first. So its ok. The simply reason you'd involve a pelvic now is if you have a yeast infection.
if you are not sexually active here is no need for a pap. She will break your hymen.
