oh,thats normal. Your period can be lite one month and heavy the next. I`m also 16 and my periods are heavy some months and lite others.

Is this your normal menstrual time? Do you take birth control pills? If you are concerned and this is not normal for you then get checked wherever you usually go. To your GYN or to your local clinic.
Variations in periods are not unusual, especially at your age. Provided there is zero chance of pregnancy I would do nothing and wait and see what your next period is like.
When did you start. I ws really heavy up until, going on the pill. I used to bleed heavy for about 7-10 days which was a nightmare. I went on the pill at 15 becuase of that and then they settled down.
If it is causing you any discofort, see you GP. you could always try the pill.
