Fat is truly not that bad for you, if it's not soaking fat, from animals. Olive grease is a good substitute for butter or margarine. I hold learned to use it on pretty much everything I used to put margarine on.
Carbs (sugary), then again, are really the enemy. You involve some carbs in your diet, as you would expect, but they should only be unharmed grain foods. If a bread doesn't hold "whole wheat" as the first ingredient, it isn't a polite bread. It took me 5 years to learn to similar to whole wheat pasta, but immediately the white stuff is mushy to me. Fruit is good for you, but not too much as it is a carb which scheme it has profusely of sugar in it.
