Does Anyone Else Experience Extreme Mood Swings Before Their Period?

For some reason, I am have some real mental issues beforehand I get my cycle. I don't infer that it could be PMS due to the fact that I hold extreme highs and extreme lows, almost to the point of contemplating suicide. Then, as soon as I acquire my cycle I am fine and think to myself why did I enjoy such erratic thoughts. Does anyone have any perception how to alleviate this problem? Maybe, avoiding certain foods or holistic pills.

Answer:
I get the exact same instrument during my cycle; however, I am also bipolar and one of the side effects of bipolar depression is having extreme high and lows during the month.

It is very adjectives to have terribly high/low moments during your cycle because of the surges of hormones, but I would recommend seeing your doctor. Perhaps she could prescribe you something that will alleviate your mood swings.

I find that writing down your emotions surrounded by a journals help, because after your cycle is over, you can read your journal and reason, "wow, I can't believe I felt that style..." It'll make you more aware of how you can anticipate your subsequent cycle. Plus, you can bring this journal to your doctor and she can use this information surrounded by prescribing you something.

I also find that chocolate helps :)
you could hold a more serious form of pms (i don't kno the name of) but it's best to shift to the doctor who can offer you better suggestion because when it gets to the point of you contemplating suicide you should see a doctor.

Since your mood can progress down so far that you feel suicidal, you may want to discuss the issue beside a doctor, even if you know you don't want to go the medication route, it's moral to get checked out to produce sure it's not part of a larger hormonal issue.

I know St. John's Wort is supposed to comfort with depression, so is Omega-3 grease. Don't know if they'd be effective for the manic section of the mood swings, though.
