Vaginal discharge?
Is this due to anti histamine tablets for Urticaria or are there any other causes?

Could you be pregnant? It sounds like implantation. This is when the egg implants and can cause some pink/brown red stain discharge and you usually get this 6-12 days after ovulation which is a few days before your period.

It could be but if I were you I would be on the safe side and get yourself checked out. Any bloody discharge is cause to have a check. Its probably just a simple infection but sometimes there are more serious causes and the run up to a period shouldn't cause blood to be there. Usually you do get a bit of a creamy brown dischage at this time which is normal but to have blood there should be ringing alarm bells. Do yourself a favour and ease your mind. Make an appointment and see your g.p. as soon as possible. Hope everything goes well for you.
