What skill does this show?
Does this show leadership skills or what nice of skills does this show? Is this good volunteering?
Answer:
I go to med school. It doesnt issue what you do, it all depends on how you verbs the situation. If you will write in your personal statement that you be the best car director and populace thanked you for it so several times and yada yada yada then yes it shows direction skills. If you just convey them about what you did after no, it seems resembling you were wasting your time in actuality. In fact you should be getting salaried for a job similar to that. My advice to you if you want to gain into med school, dont volunteer it doesnt reimburse in the conclusion. Get a job that in truth will give you some currency to party near. Try getting a job contained by a hospital. But to tell you the truth within the end the solely thing that matter is your MCAT score. Seriously!! Get someones KAPLAN books and start reading them already. I know it will still be a while back you apply to schools and hold your MCAT, but it is not too soon to start studying. Other than MCATs grades are teh second most important factor for Med school. Everything else is irrelevant.
it shows good communication beside the public and shows that you can take head and your own skills so yeh its pretty good
Leadership? You're kid, right?
No, that is not honourable volunteering. That is simply enriching a parking lot concessionaire by working for free.
Why not contact your local hospice and find a way to volunteer? You will not just be of more help to culture who need it (more than parkers do), but you'll also cram something that has some relevance to your life's aspiration, which is medicine.
Curing the ailing is good work. So is helping those who are terminally not a hundred percent. And helping their families as okay.
