No one has ever been recorded as having died from Cannabis Sativa *marijuana*, HOWEVER, unless you personally know your local grower and their practices, Marijuana is often times cut with another drug, to either A. make it less expensive for the grower or B. Make it more interesting for the purchaser. You run into the the problem of consuming questionable chemicals that your marijuana has been "laced" with, and that could potentially kill you. Also, the effects of marijuana are much like alcohol in the way that they effect some peoples sense of logic. While the average marijuana user just looses motivation, some actually go off in tangents, and some commit suicide because of the mental state they were in before they smoked marijuana. In short, It's not really at all possible to die from ingesting marijuana, however, you may ingest something that you hadn't planned on.
Zero. There has never been a documented case of a marijuana caused death. You cannot die from using the drug, unless it is laced with another drug such as cocaine, or you do something stupid while high like jump off a building that any idiot could do sober.
I'm 53, and smoked pot from age 16-28. I still have friends that do, but I have lung problems, so I haven't been able to anymore. My point is that I've never heard of anyone dying form pot.
Depends on whether you want to count it as just usage of marijuana, overdose, mixing it with other drugs and/or accidents when it is being used.

Well they say that it cannot kill you. I have smoked enough to decide to quit, and I will tell you that it robs you of your goals in life and of your motivation. The most motivation you have is to smoke weed. You cannot get addicted to the drug they say, but you get addicted to smoking and always want more.
You are 4x more likely to have a heart attack after recently smoking marijuana, and 3 times more likely to to have head and neck tumors, which I am most scared of...
One of the worst things that I have experienced besides the lack of motivation is the forgetfulness and impaired ability to learn... It is sad, don't smoke.
