either nix or rid, they are head lice shampoo, they kill the lice and help wash them away, but u have to sit her down and pick out hte dead lice and al lthe eggs before they hatch, do regular licce check everyday because the shampoos work really well but are not 100%effective, also wash all her linnens, sheets, clothes hats everything, sheets should be changed daily until the lice is gone otherwise she will keep getting it from her sheets. keep her clothes seperate from other family members clothes that are being ready to wash, plastic bags work best, the lice cant escape, basically u have to put all her fabrics seperate from other fabrics, just until the lice is gone, it will probobly take about 2-4 weeks for all the lice to be gone, i've had it twice (both times when i was younger) so i know. make sure she knows that it isnt her, its the nasty bug because especialy if shes small she may not understand why all her stuff is seperate, make it into a game, make her feel like its special for her to do this and its a treat. it sucks and is kinda tedious when getting rid of it but once its gone it feels awesome to not have to deal with it anymore. and its better than her getting embarrased at school or daycare

i am a professional nitpicker and i have helped 100s of families eliminate headlice and nits over the years: Comb out is the only way to go- get a good finetooth metal comb like Licemeister or Terminator. Smother hair with a thick conditioner. Take thin sections of hair and comb the hair out, strand by strand. 3-4 thorough comb-out would eliminate lice and nits permanently.
