i was cutting a log that wieght around 800 puonds i would guess.it rolled and hit me on my leg a few inches above my ankle.the bruise is white with red spots and purple on the outside.and it burns... and hurts when touched.ive had it for a few days.now im not sure if its from the log are if something bit me?i live in the ozarks in missouri. and i was wondering if i should see a doctor our well it just go away?

If the spot is where the log hit you - it's a bruise. An 800# tree could give you a nasty injury, I don't doubt that it hurts when you touch it.
Bug bites tend to start out small, and you can usually see the mark of the bite in the center. And they just cause a red rash, not the purple you're describing.
