Although it can become a habbit that is tough to break. Over time you will become hooked to the white noise that the adherent provides and may have difficulty sleeping minus the fan.
You may obviously find that you sleep better as the white noise of the hanger-on may drown out other noises that might stir you.
It is bad to sleep surrounded by a hot climate, sweat and then turn on a large speed fan, since we'll cool rotten too suddenly and might get sick (cold, flu, throat). It is not discouraging to sleep with one on for the entire dark.
