Who do the paramedics shackle culture surrounded by medical situations?
I think that's pretty cruel to put an in poor health person contained by handcuffs.
Answer:
I presume you are confusing "hand cuffs" next to "wrists restraints" as we prefer to call them contained by the health prudence Profession. Both situations that you mentioned sounds adequate for the use of restraints.
First you said you overdosed on pills, in good health people act in response differently when under the influence of medication, so as a precaution and for safety reason, patients are often restrained, not handcuff, there is a difference.
About the Seizure incident again, during that time the forgiving can easily hurt themselves and those around, so the paramedics "restrain" the long-suffering to keep the forgiving safe. Both situations call for safety measures and this is one course to make sure of that.
I am sorry if it seem cruel. But is a safety judge.
when you are mentally instable they are going to do that to prevent even more injury. imagine have a seizure and falling and hitting your leader or something worse like trip up out of a window. it's not something you want to ensue. paramedics know what they're doing and they do everything for a reason it's not inhumane at adjectives.
Do you mean why? If so, it's probably to control a possibly unpromising situation. A person that's mentally out of it adequate to try to commit suicide, you never know. They could wake up and try something else.. to themselves, or to the paramedics. Same near a seizure. Some associates black out during seizure and become violent.
It is for you're own obedient so you do not continue to impair yourself if you are having seizure,, think more or less it you don't need you're hand flip flopping everywhere you could hurt yourself even more!!
the reason they put him surrounded by handcuffs be for his own safety...i hold had seizure in yesteryear and some people flail their arms around and move around...during a commandeering such movements can either injure the individual or the person(s) attending to them (paramedics, firefighters, doctors) its just a form of restraint the is prompt and efficient for an emergency. some individuals who are uncouscious and are being attended by paramedics will most habitually (depending on the injury) be restrained by straps to the bed. its not cruel, its to insure a safe ride to the hospital near any incidents.
first off paramedics don't enjoy handcuffs they own restraints and they are only using it for medical reason and I'm sure you were cuffed so if someone wasn't next to you when you finally awoke you wouldn't try to kill yourself again
Medics involve to protect themselves when they have a combative forgiving. Some people picked up are bloodthirsty drunks or addicts or suicidal. Some ancestors have rebellious seizures or are combative from diabetic attacks or director injuries where they have need of to remain still to avoid further injury. My husband is a Firefighter/Medic and they use leather restraints only once in a blue moon to protect themselves and the patient. If a tolerant is violent ,they usually appointment the police to the scene for assistance.
i know that here in Ontario and i muse the rest of Canada the paramedics don't hand cuff individuals . they may from time to time with a doctors authority use what are called powered restraints . they are not really mechanical as they are more resembling straps that would attach to the stretcher. this is not often done but it is sometimes needed to protect the being or the medical staff.
i suspect if you dug into this you would find that the police were involved and that they put the chains on the person.
Safety for the long-suffering to prevent flailing and injuring himself...
Safety for the paramedic to prevent hurting the rescuer...
You might even have to stab them next to a syringe full of tranquilizer just similar to if they were a passionate animal.
I don't think anyone should be put into cuffs unless it is for safekeeping reasons.
