Nasty mole on posterior?
Answer:
It would be extremely wise to enjoy the mole checked to make sure it is not phenomenal. Even if he has have it a long time, moles can change and become cancerous and this can be extremely serious, even brutal.
The dermatologist will decide if it wishes to be removed and biopsied.
You can't be too cautious when it comes to skin change -- take it from someone who know. My husband, age 30, had a malignant mole removed from his hindmost. Sixteen months later he died -- it be melanoma, and it metastasized to his liver, kidney, and finally his brain, killing him at 32.
I am not trying to upset you, but after that horrendous experience I always speak about people to monitor skin changes really carefully. If it's zilch, great, you haven't lost anything by getting it checked out by the doctor. If it is something to worry roughly, getting it removed promptly is extremely important.
Good luck.
Moles that are funny surrounded by color or shape should be monitored for changes, as they can be a sign of skin cancer. I read aloud take a picture of it once a year of so and monitor for any change (memory tends not to serve so well)! If near are changes within color or shape he should go see a doctor.
