sounds to me close to you got yourself a "quirk." We adjectives have them, most don't resembling to admit them. Just little things we do, that oodles people out nearby (most actually) find odd. I own a few, wife has a few, almost everyone does.

Do you have any OCD symptoms - resembling ... hand wash - or having to travel back and check that the door's locked when you've already checked it 3 times...? I'm not an expert - but I enjoy a friend who's diagnosed with a mild form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder ... and she does unquestionable things again & again. She's described it as an 'Uncontrollable urge...' like you.
Do you discern like you enjoy to chew it or else something fruitless could happen? Sorry - I know this sounds over the top ... it's freshly the kind of things that my friend be asked. Hopefully ... for you ... it's just a 'weird phase'!!
