Why cant you drink near anti depressants?

Answer:
It is not a good theory as alcohol is a depressant and drinking will make you more depressed. Also, your tolerance is lowered by taking antidepressants, so it take less alcohol to win a buzz. Have you discussed this with your doctor and/or pharmacist? Here is an excellent website:

Hope this help.
WHAT? yOU CAN TOO
You could die.
Antidepressants cause interior nervous system depression and if someone drinks alcohol higher than this, the central strung-up system depression is even bigger
You're kinda shooting yourself in the foot aren't ya??

Alcohol is a depressant......
Anti-depressants are strong on the kidneys and liver. When you drink, this will cause an overload and can eventually result in damage.
Also it will formulate the anti-depressants not work. You are basically taking a depressant and an anti-depressant at indistinguishable time and so it kind of screw up the purpose of the anti-depressant. You might be able to own one 8-ounce beer or one 4-ounce glass of wine or one shot within a mixed drink once in a while, but you must discuss this next to your doctor. Example: he/she will probably tell you to thieve the anti-depressant the following morning assuming you have the drink at dark.
When some one drinks while they are on anti depressants, it increases the strength of the anti depressant. One drink is like 2 or 3, and two drinks is approaching 4 or 5, and so on. Drinking while on medication is never a good concept and if you dont know when to stop then you can intervene out or in worst cases those have be known to die from drinking while on medication.
But i own heard that you can still smoke pot while on anti depressants. Pot wont wound you like alcohol will. And the with the sole purpose people that shouldnt smoke pot while on anti depressants are those who take action badly to it, resembling being more restless or having frenzy attacks.
