I have a really bad sunburn?
Answer:
If you are looking to buy something look for a sunburn relief gel with Lidocane and aloe. It takes away the pain the best and usually helps heal quickly. um. Another good option is Vitamin E tablets. Find gel caps and break the caplets open and put the gel on your skin, it doesnt have the pain relieving effect but it really helps heal much faster. good luck.
Take some aspirin every 4 hours. Buy some 100% aloe lotion at the drug store and cover the burn with it. You'll feel better, reduce the redness, and heal faster.
Aloe
aloe gel is really good...also noxima is great because its REALLY cool on ur body when u put it on....take cool showers or it will HURT LIKE HELL! also some ibuprofrin or something for the pain
Hopefully you arent' so severely burned that you are blistering.. I suggest what others suggested, take Tylenol and use some sort of burn relief on it.something with aloe is good. Cold compresses may help in the worst areas... the pain will probably worsen at night and should last a couple of days...as far as healing goes, you will probably end up peeling in a week or so..
take aspirin and if you have a walgreens drugstore around they have a blue sunburn gel that works great..its their own brand comes in a bottle or tube.
The advice above is all good. One thing that I did when I had a bad sunburn was put zinc oxide ointment on the burn. I could not sleep because of the pain and I could not tolerate clothing or sheets touching my skin. I put the ointment on heavily and it helped the pain. Drink lots of water and or gator aid.
AloeVera is amazing, but if you don't have any, you can mix equal parts of water and vinegar and rub that on your skin with at towel and then just shower. Yes, it will be stinky- but it really helps!
