I have to find the answer for this sound out for my science class. All I need to know is the exact process of how the skin get tan. close to for ex. the sun rays beam down into your skin cause your blood....or just a url. Thanks.

in your skin you own a thing call melanin - this is where your pigmentation is produced. when the skin tans the pigmentation go up and therefore your skin become darker - melocytes are the beam of sun that tan the skin =)
