I have these fleshy bumps in the back of my throat, a bump with a white head behind my tonsils what is this?

Strep throat, go to your doctor, it will not get better on it's own.
This description 'rings a bell', but I can't say of what. It seems a possible viral infection? I suggest that before you go any further, to check into a local clinic for a swab to be taken. It may have nothing to do with std's - it may be a serious infection that is effecting your glands.
You can also call a nurse and explain your ailment to her/him. It may be something that a simple antibiotic can take care of. If there is tenderness or soreness or some leaking from the bumps, that may signal a more serious condition.

Could be exudates. They could accompany tonsilitis, mycoplasma, mono, or something of that nature. My doctor also says that sometimes people are just prone to them. She told me that her husband gets them a lot and he rinses them out with water. It could indicate some issue with your tonsils so I'd see an ear nose and throat specialist if I were you.
Sometimes these white spots will stay long after your sore throat is gone. Some people just have them for no good reason. But most of the time it means a throat infection.
you have what they call strep-throat gargle with hot salt water 4 times a day and take some antibiotics that a doctor would per scribe. i used to get this all the time.what it comes down to is an infection in the throat and if you don't take care of it soon it will get worse and more symptoms will occur like diarrhea,vomiting etc..see a doc and gargle..

are you having any ear pain? pain with swallowing? swollen nymph nodes? you may want to get a rapid strep test.
If there is bad breath and sore thought accompanied by it. It’s most likely Tonsillitis. Also, you will notice that the white spots, puffs, stones, whatever you call them, do come off and will taste rotten when they do.
I have had them, id have it checked out by a doctor.
You need to go to the doctor. This could be a variety of things but it sounds like strep throat and if that is what it is then you are contagious until you are on an antibiotic for a few days. It's always better to be safe than sorry by guessing rather than getting these symptoms confirmed and not spreading whatever it is. Good Luck
sounds like a throat infection. My wife gets it all the time. go see your doctor and get some meds. it should then go away in about a week.
