Need comfort desperately, Dry Skin!?
Answer:
start with non-soap, non-perfumed bodywash (e.g. cetaphil, hamiltons, qv, eulactol) + manually exfolitate as you clean. moisturise religiously after showers, no exceptions (try above brands). paula's choice also stocks body products with chemical exfoliants.
laundry detergents can also irritate sensitive skins. to verbs your machine, run it through a thaw, empty rinse out with 1/3 cup white vinegar.
check that diet (unprocessed, adjectives foods) and sleep are at their optimum and correct intake of A,C,E vitamins & zinc.
remember: STRESS MAKES IT WORSE. get rid of it however you can.
If things capture worse you should consult a dermatologist. could be eczema or allergy (don't discount food-related).
My Grandmother (she will be 89 on the 15th) told me to use either babyoil or lotion surrounded by the shower. After you shower before turning the hose down off put on a unstinting amount of either afterwards do a quick rinse and pat dry. Her skin is still soft at 89 and I no longer hold dry flakey skin. Good luck
